Here is... the new 2 Unlimited
No, this is not Ray Slijngaard with a new style and Anita Doth with bleached hair
who want to breathe new life into 2 Unlimited. Who they are? We will explain it in
great detail...
After five years and 16 hits, the world successes of the Dutch/Belgian combination
2 Unlimited suddenly came to an end in early 1996. The duo at that time, Ray Slijngaard and Anita Doth,
didn't want it anymore. The thinkers of 2 Unlimited, the Belgians Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde,
were really fed up with it, but decided to continue. They thought: then we'll continue with another
singer or other singers. But how to find those? The search of the two men was on. And now this search
is completed, resulting in two females! The blonde Romy and the dark Marion will be the new
2 Unlimited and have to provide a new sound, a new image and a totally different set-up. No more
raps, no technobeats, but fresh songs with a head and a tail, as the record company reports.
Romy and Marion sure feel like it, they feel more assured day by day and will leave their card on
the 16th of March with the song Wanna Get Up. This card mentions: 'We are Romy and Marion,
the new 2 Unlimited!'

Slijngaard and Anita Doth were the faces of 2 Unlimited...
larger picture: ...but now in 1998 2 Unlimited consists of
the blonde Romy and the (somewhat) darker Marion. The two Belgians behind the scenes, Jean-Paul De Coster
and Phil Wilde, who write all of the 2 Unlimited songs, are still there.
